From the moment I have first visited the homepage & read the line "Test Everything - Believe Nothing", I have been tempted to learn more about the Temple & its Teachings. The first glimpse of the the rational & sound character of Vampirism I had caught kept working in the back of my mind. What followed then was another small step on my part by acquiring the Vampire Bible. What I came to discover has turned out to be fundamentally revealing. Soon I found myself taking up Lifeforce any time that I interacted with the herd. I proceded to take further steps & started to study the Temple publications available for the registered member. Every single chapter has had its way of shedding light on questions that I had always sought to find answers to. Before I took the first step, there have been psychological obstacles that demanded to be taken care of. The blessings of successfully applying Lesser & Greater Magic as well as short term achievements distracted me from striving for my long term goals (immortality & financial independence). All too often, the tendency to give in to complacency determined my actions. For far too long, I had postponed working towards achieving these long term goals that require a large amount of effort over a long period of time. That was until I took action to make the first decisive step to provide for immortality & have started to work against the dynamics of temporary convenience. From this point on, I have felt this instinctive notion that it was my clear will to approach the Temple Gates. The Temple has encouraged me to put up a clear road map of how to accomplish my aims & take action regarding these pressing issues, even if the road is a long one. The most precious insight that I have gained since I have become an active member is that goals like immortality & financial independence are attainable. However, this requires a clearly determined & dedicated mindset. Things have started to get in motion the moment that I have started to sincerely work on accomplishing these objectives. Changes & improvements are taking place with every single step I take. While I further my knowledge in manifold areas, I can see my personal sphere of influence steadily extend. My attitude towards a number of issues has been put in a new perspective as short term perception has begun to give way for plans & concepts including what I had previously considered the very far future. At the same time, I have begun to increase patience, calm & the ability to emotionally distance myself from stressful situations, even if there still is a long way to go. I'm beginning to view the difficulties that I encounter as opportunities to learn & grow. When I reached out the Temple was there. I thank being here to benefit from the Temple Teachings to the Temple mission. The knowledge that I have gained here is of existential value & has enriched my well-being beyond comparison. I shall be eternally thankful for all that I have come to learn & understand here.
